Ashborn Designs is a small studio that treats a website the way an architect treats a structure — surveyed, drawn, then constructed.
Most websites are assembled. A template gets bought, a logo gets dropped in, the stock photos get swapped, and the result looks like what it is — a building someone else designed with your name on the door.
We work the other way around. Every project starts on a blank sheet, with questions about your business rather than a menu of layouts. What has to be said. Who has to hear it. What they should do next. Only once that's clear does anything get drawn, and only once the drawing is approved does anything get built.
It's slower at the front and much faster at the end. Changing a plan takes minutes. Changing a finished building takes weeks.
We take a limited number of builds so each one gets real attention. That means we occasionally can't start when you want to — and it also means when your project is active, it isn't sitting behind nine others.
Your domain, your hosting, your files, in your name from the first day. When a project is finished you have the source and you owe us nothing ongoing. A studio that makes itself impossible to leave isn't earning the relationship.
If a request will hurt the site, we'll say so and explain why. You're paying for judgement, not agreement.
The number quoted is the number invoiced. Anything beyond the agreed scope gets discussed and priced before work starts.
Structure, speed and accessibility are part of the craft. A site nobody can load or find isn't finished.
